 My Approach to Treatment

Mission

To provide state-of-the-art behavioral healthcare to my patients in a caring and compassionate manner with a holistic focus on body, mind, and spirit so that each individual may reach his or her greatest potential.

Core Values

Competence:  Helping people to overcome their psychological and emotional issues and to improve their quality-of-life requires that one have a steadfast commitment to both the science and art of psychology.  The science of psychology pertains to the field’s most current empirically-derived knowledge about human functioning and the behavior change process.  The art of psychology involves the successful implementation of that technology within the context of a safe and compassionate therapeutic relationship that fosters both healing and change.

Integrity:   The core value of integrity is fundamental to the promotion of health and wellness, and incorporates many different issues in various forms.  However, the basic concept of integrity is that of a consistent  adherence to a clear set of moral values and ethics as a basis for one’s decisions and actions.

Trust:  The basic concept of trust is the knowledge and belief that one can rely on another individual to always act in good faith and in a way that maintains and perpetuates a healthy (professional) relationship.
